Where does WSA have openings?

We make placements throughout North America. Each opportunity listed on our website has the area listed and we recommend checking our opportunities page regularly to see what is available.

Are all openings listed on the website?

As a general rule, yes. We regularly update our website, however we are not a job board and it is possible that one of our consultants could contact you before the job is posted in the website. Therefore we suggest you send us an up to date resume to ensure you are not passed over for an opportunity.

How do I get more information about a position?

Our consultants will be happy to provide as much information as possible about a particular position once they have determined that you are a potential match. Typically we do not reveal the clients name or extensive information until we have established you are interested in the opportunity and have the qualifications our clients are looking for. Conversely we do not reveal your information or resume to our clients without your permission.

I don’t see an opening in my area, should I send a resume anyway?

Yes. The more information we have about your qualifications and the type of opportunities you are looking for, the quicker we can contact you concerning an opportunity. This also helps us to cut down on wasting your time if you don’t have the experience or qualifications needed for the opportunity.

How should I prepare for an interview?

We have a link to general interviewing tips on our Home page. However, it is in our best interest and yours, to ensure that you are prepared for an interview. We will give you as much information as possible about the client, answer your questions and make sure you are thoroughly prepared before you go out for an interview.

Is there a fee charged to applicants for WSA opportunities?

No. We do not charge candidates any fees. We are compensated by our clients for finding the right candidate for their openings.

Why have I not heard from WSA recently?

There may be many reasons. We may not have up to date contact information for you or your resume may be out of date since we last received it, consequently you haven’t been contacted as we feel you are not suitable for an opportunity. We recommend that you keep us up to date on changes in contact information and qualifications to ensure that you are contacted for relevant opportunities. Feel free to send us this information via email or call one of our consultants to discuss potential opportunities.

How do you protect my privacy? I don’t want my employer to know I am looking at other opportunities.

We fully appreciate the concern for privacy. With industry becoming smaller we understand the need for confidentiality. All information on our candidates is kept strictly confidential until you give us permission to release information to a specific company. Our database is not public and we never allow our clients or outside companies to view information on our candidates without their permission. Our reputation and business depends on the handling of information in confidential and secure manner.
